Job summary

Jet2.com Limited is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to shape and deliver data science strategy across the Jet2 business. You will lead a team of data scientists, applying ML, statistics and advanced analytics to unlock commercial value and enhance customer experiences.

Based in Leeds with hybrid work, you will partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, deliver projects from concept to production, and advance data governance and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering data science projects in commercial environments.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production deployment experience.
• Proven ability to lead data science teams and mentor colleagues.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience operating within Agile delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Data Scientists.
• Plan and deliver data science initiatives using Agile practices.
• Develop, deploy and monitor machine learning models in production.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate to maximise value from data across Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
