Lead Data Scientist

Up to 90,000

London (Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week)

Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end data science projects from ideation to deployment, to translating commercial and audience goals into actionable, value-driven use cases.
• Develop predictive models for segmentation, churn, LTV, pricing, and user engagement, balancing machine learning sophistication with explainability and impact.
• Embed A/B testing, causal inference, and uplift modelling into decision-making, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning.
• Collaborate closely with teams in Revenue Management, Digital Media, and Consumer Promotions to deliver targeted, domain-specific data solutions.
• Support junior team members through mentoring and skill development, reinforcing a team culture rooted in iteration, innovation, and real-world value delivery.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficient in Python (core skill), with strong experience in SQL
• Proven track record of applying analytics in digital media, technology, or consumer-focused organisations.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, forecasting, and operations research techniques.
