Lead Data Scientist is a role one for our most experienced and adept Data Scientists. You will be given some of our most difficult and challenging problems to work on. These problems could range from structured data problems through to image recognition.
The Lead Data Scientist will spend a large proportion of their time building AI solutions and solving business problems, but they also have a responsibility to develop the wider team and ensure an excellent standard of work is maintained. This will take the form of structured training, collaboration among the Lead community, as well as peer reviews and technical sign-off for models. We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to work in our Operations Data Science teams, as well as contributing to wider initiatives including our MLOps strategy and optimising the model lifecycle and it’s corresponding governance.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled, technical person that loves to take on the latest challenge. They must be passionate about pushing themselves and others to progress in technical areas, spanning both predictive and generative AI use-cases.
You will have a passion for Data Science and will be eager to drive forward the use of a variety of AI techniques to solve some challenging problems. You will be business focussed, navigating the trade-off between time, cost and quality, and have a track record of delivering valuable solutions to the business.
