Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to expand the Data Platform, building integrations, APIs and data pipelines to support game analytics during development and post-launch.

You will own parts of the platform, drive improvements, enable studio self-service, and collaborate with DevOps, data and frontend engineers across the studio. Experience with Go or Python and AWS is required; BI tools like Looker/Tableau are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience building data integrations between platforms, including APIs and pipelines.
• Proficient in Go, or Python with willingness to learn Go.
• Experience building robust, scalable, and resilient services.
• Demonstrated impact in prior roles.
• Ownership of parts of a platform.
• Experience with AWS services: S3, Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis, Data Firehose, Athena, Glue.

Responsibilities

• Own integrations with data platform, BI tooling, APIs, and internal websites.
• Drive improvements to achieve technical and business goals.
• Enable studio self-service on our platform.
• Work with DevOps, data and frontend engineers, and stakeholders.
• Support existing tooling, improving quality and documentation.
• Be a technical expert and share knowledge with colleagues.
