Bank of England is seeking a Lead Engineer (Specialist) to drive the Data Collection and Publication (DCP) Platform within the Technology Directorate. You will shape infrastructure from cloud-native to on‑premise systems, mentor teams, and advance CI/CD practices using Terraform, GitHub Actions and PowerShell.

The role supports flexible working, with a 50% in-office requirement and location options in Leeds or London. Strong documentation, collaboration and security-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge and experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, Azure, and PowerShell.
• Experience using git for source control and writing clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Bank's technology stack, including IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and GitHub Actions; script with PowerShell.
• Collaborate across teams, mentor junior colleagues, and emphasise security-first practices.
