Job summary

LiveScore Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable data pipelines and data models that power real-time AI/ML workloads. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions.

You'll own data integrity, performance, and cost optimisation across the data platform while advancing our data strategy through automation and new technologies, in a hybrid London

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering with large-scale, complex datasets.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of data-modelling techniques and data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of robust data pipelines on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).
• Own data models and databases for analytics using dimensional modelling.
• Automate data workflows and optimize storage/costs in GCP (Terraform, Cloud Composer).
• Ensure data security and governance; manage access controls.
