Job summary

Transform is seeking a Data Engineer to build, maintain, and improve reliable data solutions within an agile delivery team in London. You will develop data pipelines and transformations that support BI, reporting, analytics, and emerging AI-driven use cases.

You will work closely with senior engineers, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into maintainable technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with production data pipelines and modern data tooling.
• Good understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and data quality principles.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform such as Azure or AWS.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and testing practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and supporting processes.
• Implement business logic and data models to meet agreed requirements.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Diagnose and resolve data quality and pipeline issues.
• Collaborate effectively within agile, cross-functional delivery teams.
• Document solutions and contribute to shared engineering standards.
