Job summary

Eligo Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to lead Data Centre projects across multiple UK locations and to shape the mechanical engineering team’s direction. You will work with Directors and senior stakeholders, balancing technical oversight with client management and business growth.

You will mentor engineers, review designs, and contribute to recruitment and succession planning while promoting innovation and best practice across the consultancy.

Qualifications

• Proven background in Building Services Design Consultancy.
• Experience delivering Data Centre or Mission Critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple Data Centre projects.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Support business development, bids and fee proposals.
• Oversee project performance, programme and profitability.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and develop Senior, Principal and Graduate Engineers.
• Review and approve engineering designs and specifications.
• Support recruitment, resource planning and succession planning.
• Promote innovation, quality and best practice throughout the business.
• Represent the consultancy at client meetings and industry events.
