About the role

Lead Data Architect / up to £85,000 + Bonus / Yorkshire

Job overview

Are you an experienced Lead Data Architect looking to drive large-scale cloud transformation projects? This is your chance to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data architecture across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

What do we need from you?

• Strong technical background with hands-on development and data modelling experience.
• Deep understanding of Data Governance, Data Lineage, and GDPR policies.
• Awareness of security best practices and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders, managing risks throughout architecture and project lifecycles.
• Highly desirable: Experience with cloud data migration programmes, specifically Azure.

What can you expect?

Opportunity to overhaul and implement a new cloud-based secure finance management system, upgrade systems to support new product innovations, design cloud-based customer ID access management solutions, and implement a new real-time payments system for web and mobile applications. Lead a data architecture team across 23 workstreams, upskill internal teams, and collaborate with third-party vendors. Play a key role in shaping secure, cloud-based systems and a major data transformation, including AI integration.
