Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join a leading property services team. The role is on-site in Tamworth with frequent travel to schemes, focusing on delivering a customer-focused repairs service and high-quality outcomes.

The Technical Officer will lead in service delivery, manage damp, mould, and disrepair cases, and support improvements and compliance reporting. A proactive surveying background in housing associations or local authorities is ideal.

Qualifications

• Extensive surveying experience in housing/repairs contexts.
• Ability to manage damp, mould and disrepair cases.
• Experience with preparing technical evidence and witness statements would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in service delivery on site.
• Manage complex damp, mould and disrepair cases and inspections.
• Prepare specifications of work and monitor contractor performance.
