Brief intro to the role:

As our Lead Cyber Security Engineer, you will be part of the technology team, focusing on the Compliance and Infosec programme that safeguards TransferRoom and its users worldwide. You will be expected to uphold high-quality standards, prioritize automation, follow best practices, and deliver well-architected solutions and frameworks.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the implementation of the NIST cybersecurity framework at TransferRoom.
• Execute prioritized deliverables to optimize, improve, or maintain the security posture of our platform and business.
• Manage stakeholder interactions with high standards of customer service.
• Maintain a proactive attitude, seek growth, and share knowledge to develop others.
• Demonstrate technical expertise through your work.
• Apply a risk-based approach to daily tasks.

Who you are:

• Experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Cyber Security roles.
• Proven success in implementing security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and well-architected frameworks.
• Understanding of risk management principles.
• A motivated team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to haves:

• Certifications in vendor, product, methodology, or industry standards.
• Experience with configuration management tools, vulnerability scanners, proxies, WAFs, and artifact management.
• Experience in secured Azure or other cloud architectures and engineering solutions.
