I am hiring a Lead Credit Risk analyst for a lending business that leads the way on all types of unsecured lending for a large consumer base across the UK. Within this role, you will help drive credit risk strategy using analytics to enhance lending profitability.

The Role

As a Lead Credit Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Reporting on credit risk insights and trends to senior stakeholders
• Using analytics skills to improve credit risk strategies
• Helping manage the credit risk customer lifecycle
• Spotting trends to find new ways to increase profitability for credit risk
• Developing new credit risk strategies across the business for acquisitions and existing customers using SAS and SQL daily
• Working with and presenting to senior stakeholders daily within the role

Your skills and experience

To be successful, you will need:

• Strong experience with SAS and/or SQL
• Experience as a credit risk analyst in an analytical position
• Experience working in financial services
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including managing upwards
• STEM Degree
