Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm delivering cost, programme and commercial management for major real estate and infrastructure projects. The Senior Cost Manager will drive end-to-end cost management, from feasibility through to final accounts, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to optimise cost and value.

In this role you will coach junior staff, steward procurement options and cost planning, and contribute to value engineering while delivering

Qualifications

• Chartered status in cost management or related field.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management on commissions and projects.
• Coach junior staff and allocate roles.
• Advise on feasibility studies and procurement options.
• Manage estimating and cost planning, presenting final cost plans.
• Oversee tendering and procurement using Hive, CostX and eTender Platform.
• Act as contract administrator and manage cost variances.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and valuations.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other consultants.
• Lead the cost management team when required.
