Cost Engineer Opportunity – Major Defence Infrastructure Projects

Are you a skilled Cost Engineer looking for an exciting challenge? Join our team and play a key role in delivering major defence infrastructure projects!

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimating & Cost Analysis: Define scope, develop schedules, and benchmark costs.
• Cost Control & Reporting: Support forecasting, variance reporting, and EAC management.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key project teams to ensure financial transparency.

What We’re Looking For:

Cost engineering experience in infrastructure or defence, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and financial reporting abilities.

Project Interfaces:

Lead cost reporting & forecasting in line with project schedules. Drive the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process, ensuring stakeholder alignment. Oversee change impact for budget control & financial planning.

Key Stakeholders:

Client Cost Manager, Client Project Managers, Accounts, JV Project Manager & Project Controls Manager.

Qualifications

Previous experience or a sound understanding of:

• Cost Management & Contract Management (e.g., NEC)
• Management of EAC Process
• Earned Value Management
• Stakeholder Liaison & Forecasting
