Job summary

Axis CLC Group is recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to lead refurbishment programmes across the region, including kitchen and bathroom projects up to £3m. You will manage multiple workstreams, ensure safety, quality and budget compliance, and oversee client and internal stakeholders from a structured framework environment.

The role offers continuity of workload, long-term client engagement and opportunities to lead multiple workstreams within Axis CLC’s framework-driven operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience as Contracts Manager/Project Manager handling projects up to £3m.
• Experience in contract administration, planning, estimating, tender processes, health & safety and staff management.
• Ability to build strong relationships and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft packages.
• Experience delivering planned works in occupied environments.
• City and Guilds in a construction trade.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of multiple refurbishment workstreams, values up to £3m.
• Ensure works are on programme, within budget and quality standards.
• Lead site management, supervisors and resident liaison teams.
• Maintain relationships with client reps and internal stakeholders.
• Attend progress meetings and site visits.
• Oversee valuations, variations, cost reporting and commercial performance.
• Support preparation of estimates, tenders and forward programmes.
• Ensure health & safety, statutory and contractual compliance.
