Blackstone Solicitors Limited is seeking a qualified Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our growing team. You will handle a varied caseload of complex probate matters, including disputes over wills and estate administrations, with emphasis on client care and strategic outcomes.

You will report to the Partner/Head of Litigation and work within a supportive, busy department renowned for high-quality work and community impact. 5+ years PQE is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years PQE in contentious probate and inheritance disputes.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, estate administration, and related disputes.
• Ability to manage own complex caseload and deliver client-focused advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a busy contentious probate caseload with strategic approach.
• Advise clients on position, risks, and costs across matters.
• Draft pleadings, letters of claim, and court documents.
• Litigate matters in accordance with procedural rules and deadlines.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain detailed case records and high standards of client care.
