Job summary

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an ambitious Consultant Psychiatrist to join the women’s secure inpatient service in Norwich. You will provide clinical leadership for Whitlingham Ward, delivering expert forensic psychiatric care and ensuring high standards of patient safety and treatment.

The role requires GMC registration, Approved Clinician status and Section 12 approval, with opportunities for a substantial recruitment and relocation package, CPD funding and ongoing

Qualifications

• GMC registration and eligibility to practise in UK.
• Approved Clinician status or eligibility.
• Section 12(2) Approved under the Mental Health Act.
• Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCST.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and leadership for Whitlingham Ward.
• Deliver Consultant Psychiatric input to women’s low and medium secure inpatient services.
• Contribute to governance, teaching and supervision within the team.
