You will manage pre- and post-construction phases, liaising with clients, design teams, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role emphasizes client relationship management, mentoring of junior staff, and maintaining high standards of project delivery within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience within the construction industry.
• Experience in a construction/property consultancy or client-side environment.
• Experience in pre-construction and post-construction delivery.
• Experience administering construction contracts.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing design teams, consultants and contractors.
• Experience delivering retail, commercial, or leisure sector projects.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of construction projects.
• Oversee pre-construction and post-construction stages.
• Coordinate design teams and develop project solutions.
• Act as key client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage client accounts and maintain long-term relationships.
• Manage consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Administer construction contracts.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and processes.
• Monitor progress, programmes and overall delivery.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to clients.
• Identify project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Support mentoring of junior team members.
