Job summary

Construction in Manchester is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a well-established consultancy. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across retail, commercial, residential and leisure sectors, from planning through delivery.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will coordinate design teams, manage procurement, administer contracts, run site meetings, monitor schedules and risks, and maintain clear client communication to ensure projects meet quality and

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects across multiple sectors (retail, commercial, residential or leisure).
• Experience in consultancy or client-side environments.
• Knowledge of the full construction project lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of construction projects for clients.
• Oversee project planning, procurement and coordination.
• Coordinate design teams, consultants and stakeholders.
• Administer contracts and maintain project documentation.
• Lead meetings and manage on-site activities.
• Monitor programmes, costs and performance.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
