Job summary

Taylor Wimpey plc is seeking an experienced professional to oversee multiple developments within the Business Unit, ensuring high standards of construction quality, cost control and safety. You will collaborate with Department Heads to meet budgeting targets and promote staff development.

You will support the Production Director by coordinating construction programming, managing site teams, and maintaining strict HSE compliance while delivering projects on time and to budget.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading construction sites or developments.
• Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong focus on health and safety practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain site construction programmes with the Development Department.
• Lead Pre-Start Health & Safety planning and SSEAP documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company health & safety procedures and policies.
• Monitor site progress, quality and budget; address delays and issues with stakeholders.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to maintain programme and standards.
• Conduct performance appraisals and develop staff capabilities.
• Drive customer care processes and post-completion handovers.
