Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Community Dietitian (Band 6) to join the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital team in Derby. The post is 30 hours per week with flexible working to suit the successful candidate, delivering expert dietetic advice in the community and collaborating with hospital dietitians.

• HCPC Registration
• Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
• Member of British Dietetic Association

Responsibilities

• Although based within our community team, you will have links with the dietitians in the acute hospitals at Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Hospital Burton.
• You will be part of departmental meetings and contribute to the engagement of all of the dietetic teams working across the five sites.
• You will deliver expert dietetic advice autonomously in the community and support service development.
