Job summary

Contechs Consulting is seeking a Cockpit Test & Development Lead Engineer for a rolling contract in the UK. The role is based in Gaydon and requires a 40-hour week under umbrella inside IR35.

Responsibilities include coordinating development, testing and verification of cockpit systems, managing test plans through to sign-off, and ensuring design maturation meets client standards. You will interact with suppliers for quotes and maintain RMDV records.

Qualifications

• Coordinate development, testing and verification of cockpit systems.
• Set up and manage test plans through to sign-off.
• Ensure client standards are met during design maturation.
• Prepare test part BOMs and liaise with suppliers for quotes.
• Document results and file reports in the RMDV system.

Responsibilities

• Manage RMDV deck for programmes and cascade targets.
• Create and update BOMs for test parts; obtain quotes.
