Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Security Subject Matter Expert to define and maintain cloud security standards, policies, and procedures across our SaaS platforms.

You will design and operate security controls for AWS, GCP, and other environments, lead security incidents, and mentor engineers while collaborating with CSIRT and product teams. The role emphasizes automation, secure SDLC, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of information security with cloud security depth.
• Hands-on securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) at scale.
• Specialized knowledge of cloud security principles and controls.
• Experience with containerized/Kubernetes platforms and CSPM/CNAPP tools.
• Proficient in Python and/or Bash for security automation; IaC tools like Terraform/CloudFormation/Helm.

Responsibilities

• Act as Cloud Security SME; develop and maintain cloud security standards and baselines.
• Design, build, and operate security controls for SaaS services on AWS, GCP, and other clouds.
• Monitor cloud configurations and triage risks; drive remediation with owners.
• Lead cloud security projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and influence architecture.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices across the org.
