Job summary

Ensono, located in Greater London, is looking for an experienced engineer to join the Public Cloud Product Engineering team. In this role, you will lead efforts to develop and operationalize cloud services, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and supportable.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in public cloud technologies and automation, along with excellent communication skills. This position offers a highly competitive salary and numerous employee benefits including healthcare, equity incentives, and generous leave policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in highly customer-focused mission critical environments.
• 5+ years’ experience architecting or supporting public cloud solutions.
• Multiple current AWS or Google Cloud Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on Product Engineering epics and stories.
• Develop new repeatable public cloud services.
• Define and evolve public cloud technical standards.

Skills

AWS or GCP solutions support

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Excellent Linux knowledge

Scripting in Python, Perl, or Bash

Configuration management (Ansible)

Git for version control

Containerized environments (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes)

Education

Degree in computing-related discipline

Tools

Jenkins or other CI/CD pipeline technology
