Job summary

DTG Global is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to own the cloud, infrastructure and security platforms. This senior, hands-on role is design and delivery focused, with no direct line management, and sets the technical standard across the estate.

You will own the cloud and infrastructure roadmap across Azure and Microsoft 365, deploy security tooling with an external provider, lead enterprise identity, handle data protection tooling, end-user computing, and governance around emerging AI tooling,

Qualifications

Ownership of a Microsoft estate with Azure and M365 experience.
Strong Azure architecture and operational experience with depth in M365.
Hands-on deployment across the Microsoft security stack.
Experience with Entra ID and Active Directory IAM.
Proven delivery of infrastructure and cloud projects to completion.
Ability to prioritise design and delivery work in a fast-changing environment.
Experience in regulated or client-confidential professional services environments.
Knowledge of UK data protection, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

Own the cloud and infrastructure roadmap across Azure and Microsoft 365.
Deploy and manage Microsoft security tooling with an external provider.
Lead on enterprise identity, including hybrid identity, MFA, CA and privileged access.
Data protection and compliance tooling, including loss prevention and classification.
End user computing, VDI, networking, backup and recovery.
Governance around emerging AI tooling.
Deliver infrastructure and cloud projects end to end.
