Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy review process for NIHR portfolio clinical trials. You will liaise with investigators, sponsors and the Trust R&I team on medicines management issues and provide expert advice on regulatory and GCP aspects.

You will support trial setup, SOPs and audit readiness within MMPS. The role involves contributing to system development for recording trial activity and promoting the LTHT clinical trials

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating pharmacy review for clinical trials.
• Ability to liaise with investigators, trial sponsors and regulatory bodies.
• Knowledge of medicines management in R&I and GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the local pharmacy review process for new clinical trials.
• Liaise with investigators, trial sponsors, research networks and Trust R&I on medicines management issues.
• Provide expert advice on medicines-related aspects of R&I within the Trust to ensure compliance.
• Review and improve MMPS clinical trial setup processes to meet NIHR portfolio trial targets.
• Contribute to development of systems to record clinical trial activity and share outputs with MMPS teams.
