NHS Highland is recruiting for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead to shape and deliver the redesign of the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service in North Highland, Inverness. You will lead clinical development, ensure high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments, and provide clinical leadership within a multi-disciplinary framework.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with significant experience in neurodevelopmental assessment and leadership.
• Strong expertise in assessment and formulation of neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Experience leading service development and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the strategic and clinical development of the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service in North Highland.
• Provide expert psychological assessment and formulation for children with suspected neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Oversee and develop multi-disciplinary assessment pathways and ensure evidence-based practice.
• Offer clinical supervision and leadership to psychologists and other professionals.
• Collaborate with CAMHS, Community Paediatrics, Children’s Health Services in The Highland Council, education, social care, and third-sector organisations.
• Contribute to training, service evaluation, and implementation of the national neurodevelopmental specification.
