Job summary

Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced pharmacist to lead on specialist clinical pharmacy services within a busy, multidisciplinary team. The post requires post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy and hospital pharmacy experience.

You will provide expert clinical pharmacy, mentor staff, support service development, and lead audits and practice research, while ensuring high standards of patient care and effective collaboration with

Qualifications

MPharm 4-year degree and GPhC registration.
Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy.
Evidence of CPD across relevant post-qualification education.
Desirable: Post-grad Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy; Non-medical prescribing.

Responsibilities

Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to in-patients as per Trust requirements
Lead and mentor pharmacists, technicians and assistants
Provide pharmaceutical advice to divisional teams
Lead, organise, manage and develop services provided by the team
Work with Deputy Chief Pharmacist to optimise team performance and service delivery
Collaborate with Lead and Consultant Pharmacists to ensure specialist support for all specialities
Lead audits and participate in clinical trials and practice research
