Job summary

Primary Care Doncaster Ltd invites applications for Clinical Pharmacists to join the North Primary Care Network in Doncaster. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with supervision from a senior pharmacist and collaboration with pharmacy technicians.

The role covers medicines optimisation, prescription queries, safe prescribing, patient education, and managing repeat prescriptions across three practices.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration required.
• MPharm or equivalent.
• Independent Prescriber qualification or willingness to complete.
• Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
• Post-graduate diploma level training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Optimise the use of medicines across the network.
• Support practices with prescription and medication queries.
• Improve safety and quality of prescribing in primary care.
• Provide patient education on self-management and refer to other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Implement and manage repeat prescribing processes across three practices.
