Job summary

Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is seeking Lead Civil Engineers to work within our Delivery group on Non-Infra UK Water Engineering projects. You will lead technical design, develop deliverables and guide project teams across disciplines.

Qualifications

Civil Engineering Design and/or Hydraulics/Structural background.
Experience in design and build.
Knowledge & experience in design/checking non-infrastructure water/wastewater treatment works.
Ability to lead and manage a team and interface with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on department design guides, standards and codes.
Prepare calculations and develop civil engineering deliverables within budgets and schedules.
Guide and support continuous improvement.
Coordinate with internal/external teams on complex projects.
Prepare complex civil deliverables for large/multiple projects.
Develop material/construction technique recommendations.
Develop data management specifications for engineering work.
Act as a technical specialist advising project teams.
Mentor and develop junior staff.
Comply with health & safety duties of designers.
