Job summary

Farrans (Construction) Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Engineer to lead daily inspection and ensure quality on a large infrastructure project. You will work with the site team to deliver on time and within budget while meeting HSE and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include managing engineers, quality control, setting out and dimensional control, and providing engineering support to resolve technical queries on site in the water sector context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher education in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably water sector.
• Ability to plan ahead and delegate to the engineering team.
• CSCS/CSR card required and valid.
• Knowledge of building regulations, legislation and health & safety.
• Proficient with MS Office and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage site engineers and support Site Agent and supervisors daily.
• Support the site agent to deliver health, safety, environmental and quality performance.
• Responsible for quality control, understanding specifications and DWI requirements.
• Provide engineering support to resolve technical problems and queries.
• Maintain setting out and dimensional control for accurate construction.
