Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Civil Engineer Lead in Bedford. You will lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects, provide technical guidance to the team, and deliver high‑quality designs using AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and InfoDrainage/Causeway Flow.

Salary is approximately £50,000 DOE with profit bonuses, generous leave, hybrid working after probation, and a group pension. You must have senior/lead level experience, UK work rights, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven civil engineering experience at senior or lead level.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and drainage design.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D and InfoDrainage/Causeway Flow.
• Ability to manage project deliverables and provide technical support to colleagues.
• The full right to work in the UK
• A full UK driving licence
• Live within a commutable distance to the Bedford office
