Job summary

Compass Community Ltd is seeking a strong leader to head a Children’s Home, delivering outstanding care and ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards. You will guide the team, model compassionate practice and foster a safe, supportive home environment.

This role offers a competitive salary (£51,731 - £59,606) with the potential for up to £16,000 in annual bonuses, plus a £5,000 relocation package. 26–28 days annual leave, and additional wellbeing and recognition benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a role relevant to residential care of children.
• At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff.
• NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
• Must have achieved a “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted rating.

• Ensure the home operates safely and complies with Ofsted requirements.
• Create a nurturing, home-like environment and strong role models for children.
