Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager for a new children's LD residential home in York. You will lead and support teams, ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance to deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people.

As a seasoned manager, you will develop the service, implement robust care planning, maintain documentation to standards, and act as corporate parent while safeguarding and inspiring staff to thrive.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in childrens residential care, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, Ofstedregulations, and relevant legislation in childrens services.
• Experience leading Ofsted home inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential home in York, supporting children and young people with learning disabilities.
• Lead, manage and support teams of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers across the home.
• Establish and develop the service while ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Act as corporate parent and safeguard the wellbeing of children while embedding best practices.
