Purosearch Ltd. is seeking a Children’s Home Registered Manager for a new three-bed EBD/LD home in Oldham. You will oversee opening, lead staff, and ensure Ofsted readiness with safeguarding and high care standards.

Applicants should hold the Level 5 Diploma or be working towards it, with proven leadership in children’s residential care and strong communication skills. The role offers £60,000 base salary, a bonus structure, pension, and development opportunities.

Aufgaben

• Take overall responsibility for the management and operation of a new three-bed EBD/LD children's home in Oldham
• Support the home through the Ofsted registration process and prepare for opening
• Establish a positive, nurturing and therapeutic environment tailored to the individual needs of children and young people
• Recruit, lead, motivate and develop a skilled and dedicated staff team
• Ensure the home meets Ofsted regulations, relevant legislation and company policies
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care planning, risk assessment and record-keeping
• Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans and support strategies
• Work collaboratively with families, placing authorities, external professionals and other relevant agencies
• Monitor the quality of care and drive continuous improvement across the service
• Promote a strong team culture focused on positive outcomes, stability and consistency for children and young people
• Manage the home's day-to-day operations, staffing and resources effectively
• Participate in on-call arrangements and provide additional cover or support when required
