Job summary
Delaware North UK is seeking a casual Lead Chef to join our collaborative team at the London Stadium, Stratford. You will lead a kitchen section, support the team in food production, presentation and event execution, helping deliver memorable dining experiences during major events.
We offer a competitive weekly pay structure, flexible casual shifts including evenings and weekends, and benefits such as a free meal on event days. Prior senior-chef experience in premium settings is valued.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Experience as Senior Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Junior Sous Chef in premium settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead kitchen operations from planning through delivery, team briefings, food production, menus, staffing and logistics.
- Ensure food meets standards, quality, presentation and consistency.
- Lead culinary teams, allocate tasks, monitor performance and maintain clear communication.
- Drive high standards of food presentation and allergen compliance for a top guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, licensing laws and trading standards.
