Job summary

Healthcare Homes Group is seeking a motivated kitchen lead at Haughgate House in Woodbridge to oversee daily cooking for 42 residents. The role is 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with shifts on Week 1 and Week 2 as listed.

You will liaise with residents to prepare meals, plan weekly menus, manage stock and wastage, run theme nights, and develop the kitchen team. City and Guilds or NVQ are preferred but training can be provided through our Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Good organisational skills and food hygiene standards.
• City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications preferred but not essential as training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with residents to prepare a variety of home cooked, family favourite meals with dietary considerations.
• Write and plan weekly menus, manage stock control and ordering, and minimise wastage.
• Use creativity for theme nights and develop and manage the kitchen team.
