Job summary

Stirling Council is seeking a Charge-hand Cleaner for Callander Primary School for a 20-hour-per-week, term-time role. The post combines supervision of cleaning staff with hands-on cleaning duties, including operating cleaning machines and handling cleaning products. PVG checks are required, and training will be provided.

Flexible working is available where the role allows. Pay is £12,832 per year, with additional benefits and support for professional development.

Qualifications

• Supervise cleaning staff and provide support to cleaners.
• Must be able to lift heavy items and operate cleaning machinery.
• Basic IT knowledge and willingness to use council training tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support cleaning assistants at Callander Primary School.
• Order cleaning products and manage cleaning equipment.
• Hold keys to enable cleaning provision while on site.
