Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in Bath seeks a Lead CFD Engineer to use advanced simulation techniques for innovative projects. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and proficiency in CAD software, STAR-CCM+, and Abaqus. Key responsibilities include leading CFD simulations, managing junior engineers, and conducting experimental testing. This position offers a competitive salary of £55K to £65K with comprehensive benefits and a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
Degree ideally MENG with First Class; 2.1 will be considered.
Experience in experimental testing and prototyping.
Proficient in advanced simulation techniques.
Responsibilities
Lead high-impact projects involving advanced CFD simulations.
Conduct rapid prototyping and lab testing.
Prepare technical reports and communicate with clients.
Mentor a team of Applied Sciences engineers.
