Job summary

Specialist Homecare Group in the Shrewsbury area seeks a Female Team Leader to guide a small care team supporting an individual with learning disability and autism. You will oversee daily living tasks, communication, and community activities, ensuring person-centred care and family collaboration.

Ideal candidates have prior supervision in care/education, PBS training (preferred), and a driving licence. The role offers 12-hour rolling shifts, with weekend availability and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in care or education settings.
• Background in supporting individuals with complex behavioural needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with family and professionals.
• Person-centred planning and delivering support in daily living.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small care team to support an individual in her home.
• Coordinate daily living activities, appointments and outings.
• Maintain calm, consistent support and PB S wherever needed.
• Build and sustain positive family and professional relationships.
