Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Team Leader for its Extra Care Scheme in Chelmsford. You will supervise care packages and support Radis staff, ensuring dignity, choice and respect in every care task.

The role requires leadership, flexibility and a commitment to person-centred care. Uniform, training and progression opportunities are provided, with an emphasis on safeguarding and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to service user needs.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Driving license with access to a vehicle desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for care packages, providing supervision and guidance to Radis Staff through regular meetings.
• Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring care plans and medications are followed accurately.
• Support people directly with personal care, medication, and community activities.
• Take part in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care-related support as required.
