You will provide personal care, promote independence, and supervise staff to ensure the highest standard of support for people with a learning disability.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience supervising people is desirable.
• Recent experience supporting vulnerable people in a similar role.
• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care and Support Assistants to ensure customers receive the best support.
• Provide personal care and encourage independence by building confidence and self-esteem.
• Promote safe practices, complete risk assessments and manage safeguarding to keep customers safe.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Carry out team supervisions.
• Create and update electronic care and support plans.
