Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team in dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care settings. You will ensure personalised care plans, support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, and help residents maintain security, dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Ideally have Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Social Care and work towards Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
• Essential: brilliant positive energy and ability to get along with people.
• You’ll know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain high standards of care.
• Support Registered Nurse and Care Manager; assist with medication administration and activities.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social/recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and build strong relationships with the team.
• Communicate with residents and families with kindness and empathy.
