Job summary

National Star is seeking a Lead Care and Support Worker to guide a team and deliver high-quality, person-centred care for students in a residential setting. You will mentor staff, support daily living activities, and promote independence while fostering inclusive participation in community life.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, with experience in care settings and a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification. Typical hours are 9–5 with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in a care setting.
• Experience supporting people with learning and/or physical disabilities.
• Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to motivate others and champion best practice.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and leading others to do the same.

You will have:

• At least two years' experience in a care setting.

• A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.The ability to motivate others and champion best practice.

Internal applicants should currently be working as a Specialist or Advanced Facilitator and hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
