Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust’s City & Hackney Specialist CAMHS seeks a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide senior clinical leadership within the Behaviour Support and Outreach Pathway, three days per week, and to contribute to assessment clinics and the consultant duty rota.

The post involves psychiatric assessment and treatment, risk and medication reviews, and close MDT collaboration, with a caseload of around 30 children and young people.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment as a consultant.
• Offer senior clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to Behaviour Support and Outreach Pathway and to assessment clinics.
• Participate in the consultant duty rota and crisis/medication reviews.
• Support service development and governance within City & Hackney CAMHS.
