Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for City & Hackney CAMHS. The post involves four days per week of clinical leadership, psychiatric assessment, and treatment of adolescents with serious mental health needs, within a multidisciplinary team at Homerton Row.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration.
• MRCPsych parts 1 and 2 or equivalent.
• Extensive clinical knowledge in CYP mental health.
• Experience in assessment and management of CYP with complex mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment for adolescents within the CAMHS pathway.
• Offer senior clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to supervision, teaching, training and research activities.
• Engage in liaison with Tier 4 inpatient services and other pathways to ensure timely intervention.
