Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a CAD Design Engineer for Composite Building Products. The role focuses on designing GRP composite and aluminium building products, producing fabrication drawings, and providing technical leadership across projects.

You will lead projects from concept to installation, ensure designs meet structural and manufacturing requirements, and collaborate with PMs, production, and procurement to deliver safe, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience as a CAD Engineer within a technical design/engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GRP/composite structures and fabrication processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead bespoke design projects from concept through detailed design and fabrication drawings.
• Produce accurate CAD drawings and engineered solutions applying structural principles.
• Coordinate with project managers and teams to ensure safe, compliant, and manufacturable designs.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while resolving technical challenges.
