Arch Capital Group seeks a Lead Software Developer to own the design and delivery of complex C# applications. You will lead technical guidance, drive best practices, and collaborate with the team to build scalable solutions across cloud platforms.

Key requirements include deep C# knowledge, TDD/BDD/DDD, experience with SQL/NoSQL, GitHub, and Azure or AWS. Desirable experience with Event Sourcing and OpenAI integrations. The role is full-time on site in London or Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET development.
• Experience with TDD/BDD/DDD methodologies.
• Ability to discuss architectural patterns and trade-offs.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL DBMS knowledge.
• Experience with modern source control (GitHub).
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Nice-to-have: Event Sourcing.
• Nice-to-have: OpenAI integrations.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical guidance and leadership in design and development of software applications using C#.
• Ensure application of best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Stay updated with latest developments in C# and related technologies.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document complex applications and systems.
• Optimize and refactor existing code for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate systems and solutions.
