Job summary

Addition is hiring a Lead Business Architect in London to shape enterprise architecture for Institutional Trading and Prime Brokerage. You will bridge commercial strategy with delivery, defining future operating models and end-to-end processes across a high-impact trading environment.

You will collaborate with Product, Technology and Operations to translate priorities into scalable solutions, lead complex transformation programs, and drive improvements in efficiency and controls.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in capital markets, investment banking or institutional trading environments.
• Extensive knowledge of Institutional Trading and Prime Brokerage, including front-to-back trading lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of execution, clearing, margin, collateral, financing, settlement and custody.
• Proven experience defining target operating models, business capabilities, functional architecture and end-to-end processes.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, structured architectural solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience across Product, Technology and Operations.
• Hands-on approach to architecture with a track record of delivering real business and technology transformation.

We’re working with a leading financial services organisation investing heavily in its trading capabilities and future operating model. They’re looking for an experienced Lead Business Architect to shape business architecture across Institutional Trading and Prime Brokerage, bridging the gap between commercial strategy and practical delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the design and development of business architecture across Institutional Trading and Prime Brokerage.
