Lead Business Analyst – Accelex (London)

Accelex is a fast-growing FinTech startup focused on transforming how data is extracted, analyzed, and utilized in private markets—including private equity, venture capital, and real estate. We leverage advanced machine learning techniques to automate data capture from complex unstructured documents, powering smarter workflows for institutional investors, fund managers, and administrators.

The Role

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our core product team in London. In this role, you will work at the intersection of product development, client delivery, and analytics. You’ll play a critical role in translating client needs into scalable product solutions, helping shape the future of the Accelex SaaS platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional (2+ years’ experience) who brings a blend of product thinking, client engagement, and data fluency—and is eager to grow within a high-impact team.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Business Analysis

• Develop deep expertise in the Accelex platform and the workflows of private market participants
• Gather, define, and translate user requirements into clear functional specifications for the development team
• Support the Product Manager in driving product adoption, client satisfaction and feature development—from discovery through delivery and success measurement
• Independently lead product development initiatives to drive client value and the broader company strategy forward through implementing customer-centric solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align roadmaps with client needs and business priorities

Client Engagement & Onboarding

• Act as a key point of contact during onboarding and implementation of key clients
• Understand client data workflows and support the integration of historical datasets into the platform
• Advocate for client needs by feeding insights into the product roadmap

Business Development & Solution Support

• Demonstrate platform capabilities in support of sales and solution design
• Translate client use cases into product solutions and align on delivery paths
• Work cross-functionally to connect product capabilities to client and market outcomes

Client Support

• Maintain regular communication with clients, resolving issues using a strong understanding of the Accelex platform
• Troubleshoot problems and work with technical teams to deliver timely, effective solutions

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Associate Product Manager role
• Background in building or delivering data-driven technology solutions
• Strong communication skills—able to distil complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders in a delivery or onboarding capacity
• Technical aptitude—comfortable working with data models, workflows, and analytics tools
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (STEM or related)
• Experience in private markets or financial services is a strong advantage, but not required
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
